Quince días, eso es lo que me separa de una fecha muuuy importante para mi: un adelanto de licencia (y también un examen final)!!! y como pienso desenchufarme del todo durante esa semana, estoy tratando de dejar las cosas medias ordenadas acá (no que hayan muchas), en especial con lo de la tarjeta (ver más abajo) voy a ver si termino el dibujo para la próxima semana. Por otro lado, a partir de la semana que viene finalmente tendré ADSL en mi casa y voy a andar más en contacto (quiza) que hasta ahora, espero verlos on-line!!

Fiteen days, that's all there's between me and some very important days: a vacation (and a final exam too)!!! And since I plan to completely un-plug myself all that week, I gotta leave things somewhat done here (not that there's too much going on here as of lately), specially all that greeting card project stuff (see below), I'll try to end my drawing by next week. Another thing is that I finallly will get an DSL connection in my house, so I'll be in touch more often (probably), I hope to see ya on-line!!

El tema es así: todos los años intento enviar a mis camaradas y amigos una tarjeta de "felices fiestas". Un dibujo acorde al tema no resulta demasiado problemático para mi... el problema está en el texto que lo acompaña. Verán, mi vena literaria/poética anda media seca ultimamente, así que pensé: "¿Y si pido ayuda a los deviantes?"
La idea es crear una (o unas) tarjeta(s) en flash, que muestre(n) un mensaje, un dibujo y una melodía alusivas a la epoca del año, y la idea es que ese contenido sea 100% deviante, al menos en lo que refiere al texto y al dibujo. El resultado final (la o las tarjetas) va ser publicado en mi deviant dando el crédito a los creadores y los vínculos a sus deviaciones usadas en la obra. También se proporcionará un link de descarga para el archivo de las tarjetas prontas para su envio por e-mail (casi seguro que un Powerpoint con el archivo flash incorporado) para darles el uso para el que fueron creadas.
Por lo tanto si estas interesado/a en colaborar puedes hacerlo con:

- Textos cortos en rima o en prosa
- Dibujos
- Melodías (de creación propia o proponiendo alguna de otro autor)

Tengan en cuenta que se intenta crear algo simple, directo y claro, con un alcance tan universal como sea posible.
Entre esta y la próxima semana publicaré la apariencia aproximada de la tarjeta para que tengan una idea.

Un pequeño pero importante detalle es aclarar que para colaborar NO HAY QUE HACER LA TARJETA EN SI, sino que la idea es que cada cual aporte con algo del contenido que luego será usado en la o las tarjetas. Así que si no sabes trabajar con Flash, no te alarmes que no es necesario, colabora dentro de tu área: escritura, dibujo y/o música.

In English

This is it: every year I try to make my own greeting cards to send to family and friends. Doing a drawing about the holidays is no big deal, but it seems that I have writer's block so coming up with a decent message for the card has been fruitless. Then I thought: "What if I ask my fellow deviants for help?"
The idea is to make one (or more) greeting card(s) in flash with a nice message, a nice drawing and a nice melody for background, hoping to use a 100% deviant-made content, at least in the drawing and the message.
The outcome will be published in my deviantArt page giving the proper credit and the links to the deviants and their creations that made the card (or cards) possible. Of course I will also provide a download link for an e-mail ready file (probably a Powerpoint with the flash file embedded) so that we can put the cards to the use they were made for.
So, if you are interested in joining this we need:

- Short mesagges in prose or rhyme
- Drawings
- Melodies (of your own, or you can propose one made by somebody else)

Keep in mind that we are trying to make something simple, direct and clear, and it's approach should be as universal as possible.
In the next days i'll be posting an approximate card design.

Please note that YOU DON'T HAVE TO MAKE AN ACTUAL CARD TO COLLABORATE IN THIS PROJECT. The idea is for everybody to create a little of the content which then will be used to make the card or cards. So if you have no clue about creating flash content don't panic, just do what you can: writing, drawing and/or composing.
